The Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger (BPHE) is one of the most efficient ways to transfer heat from one medium to another. A BPHE consists of corrugated plates combined to create complex channels through which a hot medium and a cold medium can be distributed.

Single jet
The single-jet water meter is mainly used as a divisional counter in the households. It’s simple design makes it a product with a competitive price and highly reliable operation. The principle of operation is given by the incidence of a single tangential stream of water with a turbine mounted in a radial position within the body of the meter. The rotation of the turbine transmits the motion to the reading mechanism allowing the measurement of the volume of water passing through the meter. The rotation speed of the turbine is proportional to the water flow in inlet and any variation in the relationship between the characteristics of the turbine and the water flow would entail an alteration of the error curve of the meter. There are three single-jet water meter types: – Wet dial meters with the reading mechanism completely immersed in the water and direct transmission from the turbine to the gears of the mechanism itself. – Semi dry dial meter with the reading mechanism completely immersed in the water and the rollers protected in a sealed capsule. Direct transmission from the turbine to the gears of the reading mechanism. – Dry dial meter with the reading mechanism completely…
Multi jet
The multi-jet water meter is used both in the domestic and the industrial field. The principle of operation is to force the passage of the inlet water flow through a series of ducts open in a capsule, called distributor, containing the turbine. The entrance of the water through the ducts generates a series of symmetrical jets that impact the turbine keeping it in perfect balance. There are three multi-jet water meter types: – Wet dial meters with the reading mechanism completely immersed in the water and direct transmission from the turbine to the gears of the mechanism itself. – Semi dry dial meter with the reading mechanism completely immersed in the water and the rollers protected in a sealed capsule. Direct transmission from the turbine to the gears of the reading mechanism. – Counter dry dial, with clockwork separated from the flow of ‘water. In this case the transmission gears to watch takes place via magnetic coupling.
Industrial water meters
The Woltmann meter is mainly used in the industrial field or for larger residential supplies. This meter is of the helical reel type and it is made of a piece of pipe flanged at the ends in which is inserted a measuring unit bearing an helical reel the axis of which corresponds with that of the pipe. The reel, whose fins are arranged according to upright helicoids, is placed in rotation by the passage of ‘water. The measuring unit can be quickly replaced for repair without the need for removal of the main meter body. The reading mechanism with its gears is mounted inside an hermetically closed and sealed capsule. Transmission from the reel to the reading mechanism takes place via magnetic coupling.
